Is isthigasa and tawassul permitted in islam according to all madhab

Answer:

الجواب وبالله التوفيق والنجاح

There are two types of E-471. Some of them are animal based & some of them are made from plants. Most of the E-471 made in India is from plants, so it will be halal and the animal based E-471 is considered as halal if its basic form is changed or the animal is slaughtered by Islamic method, otherwise it will be considered as haram. In short, it can’t be considered as haram without having any clear knowledge about the particular item.
