Question:

Assalamualikum varahmathullahi vabarakathuhu. After juma prayer of friday,its been said to read 41 times surah yaseen keeping niyyah and to finish it before the coming friday before fajr. It is said; this is doneto fulfill all the wishes. Is it authentic ? Would appreciate an early reply Jazakallahu khair

Answer:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

الجواب وبالله التوفيق والنجاح

No such procedure is validated in sharia. Hence it is bid'a(innovation) to do such action pretending to be sunnah.

But a person can keep intention of a result experienced action done by scholars in spiritual treatment regarding ruqya.

والله أعلم بالصواب
