Name of Angel AZARAEEL is proved authoritatively?

Question:

Is there any proof in aayath or hadees or asar(word of sahaba or Imam) that the name of the malakul mauth is azaraeel? With evidence.

Answer:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

الجواب وبالله التوفيق والنجاح

Qur'an or Shaheeh Hadees didn't mention the name of malakul mauth (the angel of death) as "Azraeel"; but, it is referred in few narrations (خبر). With that many of Muffassirs say that:- The name of malakul mauth is "Azraeel".Rather than it, this topic is not related to Islamic principles. So there is no problem in calling malakul mauth "Azraeel".
